Approach

Our approach to ensuring education is transformed by evidence is collaborative and systematic. We work directly with leaders to respond to their challenges; gather and appraise all relevant evidence including the work of local actors; and partner with implementers to ensure changes to programmes as well as policies.

Our evidence pathway enables evidence-informed updates to policies and programmes
1. Respond to leaders' needs
We collaborate with education system leaders to understand their challenges
2. Source evidence widely and synthesise rigorously
Create a coherent picture from the mass of evidence and findings...
3. Generate insights and guidance
Translate findings into plain-language actionable guidance...
4. Enable change
Collaborate with policy makers and programme implementers to ensure guidance is actioned...

In their words

By together identifying solutions and building the capacity to tackle the identified challenges more effectively with evidence, Education.org is helping us to stand on our feet… This is different from all other partners, who tell you: ‘This is the water; drink it’.

Elizabeth Otieno, Deputy Director of Policy, Ministry of Education, Kenya

Our Ministry is committed to making decisions based on the best evidence. Accelerated Education can help out-of-school children learn and progress, and now we have guidelines to ensure the quality of these programmes, based on independent analysis and guidance from Education.org. There is no other actor in our sector providing this type of support.
